Wendy Boyd is a native of Colorado and has been married to her husband Kenny for 23 years.  They have two boys, Nicolas who is 21 and Connor who is 18.  She has been teaching at Holy Trinity for 7 years and received her Early Childhood Education certification while working at Holy Trinity Preschool.  She loves working with children of all ages, and finds it rewarding to see each child’s developmental process.  She is also a Bible class teacher at her church, Westside Church of Christ in Golden, CO. Wendy and her husband enjoy being counselors along with 22 other counselors and 128 kids ranging from 9-18 years at a week long Christian summer camp in Woodland Park, CO. They love spending time riding bikes and enjoy Colorado’s beauty along with their black labrador named Jubie.  Two of their favorite places to visit are Playa Del Carmen, and St. Lucia.

Shelly has been teaching at Holy Trinity Preschool for ten years.  She graduated from Metro State University in 1994 with a BS and teaching license in Early Childhood Education.  While she was in college, she directed a Before and After school program at Columbine Hills Elementary School and taught preschool at the Goodson Recreation Center.  She continued teaching in private and public schools settings throughout her career.  She has continued her education with certificates in infant and toddler development, Pyramid Plus and various phonics programs.  Shelly’s patience and thorough planning for each child is an extraordinary gift.
