About Us

Mission

At Holy Trinity Preschool, we provide a faith-centered, enriched environment that strives to take children as they come and challenge children’s developmental growth. We nurture their progress through child-centered experiences and quality opportunities that make play their work. We empower parents to become asset builders and life-long advocates for their children. We encourage professionalism and personal growth of our staff to accomplish our goals and make every day count.

Holy Trinity Preschool is accredited by NAEYC’s National Academy of Early Childhood programs and licenced by the Colorado Dept. of Human Services.

          Melissa Burkett

Hi, my name is Melissa Burkett, but everyone calls me Melissa Ann.  I am very excited to be joining the team here at Holy Trinity.  I am looking forward  to getting to know all the children and families here.

I started working in the Early Childhood Education field 25 years ago.  I have worked with infants through school age children.  I am a mother of a 16 year old daughter who keeps me busy with all of her school activities and volunteer work.  I am here for you if you need me.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

            Bevie Raitz

Hi! My name is Bevie Raitz and I am a teacher in the Green Grasshopper room.

I've worked with the Junior and Senior high youth group with my churches for close to 25 years. I was a great cheerleader and had great relationships with them.

I've worked with preschool kids for 6 years and had great relationships with them as well. I think all kids are precious and special children of God. They make my heart sing.

I have a teaching certificate and I'm also continuing my education with Early learning. I've worked with both toddlers and preschool age. I love to get to know them all. They never cease to amaze me on how smart they are and how they all learn so differently. I have learned so much from them and with the awesome teachers I've worked with as well.

I like to teach through play and nature. Their exploring minds are so much more open to new things.

              Kaitlin Keebler

Kait began working at Holy Trinity Preschool in March of 2019.  She will be teaching the enrichment classes (science and cooking, art and Mighty Movements) for the 2019-2020 school year.  Kait is very excited to be implementing HTP's new enrichment program and is even more excited to get to work with all of the children attending Holy Trinity Preschool.

My name is Donna Cantrell.  I have been a volunteer in my son's Green Grasshopper class and in the Dragonfly class for the past two years.  This summer, I was blessed to be asked to come on board as a substitute teacher.  As I work toward a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, I will continue to grow and learn from the wonderful teachers and kids here at Holy Trinity Preschool.

My family has lived in Littleton for 20 years now.  I am a fifth generation native to Colorado.  I have one son in kindergarten at Highland Elementary and one in the Bumblebee class here at HTP.

I have always had a passion for little ones and now I get the pleasure of engaging with them every week.  They are such fun and I really enjoy learning from your little ones as well.  This is a great time for your little ones, and I am very blessed to be a part of Holy Trinity Preschool.
